SAVOR - DAY 12
Matthew 26:36-46
Whenever I see olives I’m reminded of the Garden of Gethsemane in Israel. Within that ancient olive grove, lies a profound lesson of sacrifice and redemption. Just as olives yield their oil through the press, Jesus willingly chose to be crushed for us.
In the olive's journey from fruit to oil, there's pain before purpose, just as Jesus endured agony before triumph. It was through His sacrifice, we can find comfort in our struggles, knowing that even in our darkest moments, His light shines through.
Often times we experience the pain of a crushing, in order for the Father bring about the sweetness of a greater blessing. As we reflect on the olive press, let's remember the depth of Jesus' love, the magnitude of His sacrifice, and the assurance of His presence in our trials. May we, like olives, surrender to His will, trusting that through our trials, His purpose will be fulfilled.
