Your child is important at First Kids! Caring volunteers lead irresistibly fun Bible experiences for birth - 5th grade.

SUNDAYS

8:00a, 9:00a, 10:15a, and 11:30a
6 Weeks - 2 Years
A safe fun learning environment where volunteers guide children to discover who God is through love, care, music, & prayer.
Elementary
We meet in 3 different environments: Kindergarten, 1st-3rd Grade, & 4th & 5th Grade Preteens.  Kids experience fun activities, interesting Bible study, and exciting worship.
3 Years - PreK
A place where children explore the truths about God through age-appropriate activities and learn that God has a great love for each of them. Volunteers use Bible stories, crafts, and music to guide children in their growing knowledge of God. 
Preteen (4th & 5th Grade)
A ministry within First Kids Elementary focused on 4th and 5th graders and their stage of life. As they connect with their friends and caring volunteers in an exciting environment, the goal is to become Friends of Jesus and Friends to Others.

WEDNESDAYS

6:00 - 7:15p

6 Weeks - 2 Years
Children are loved and nurtured in a safe environment to discover the love of God while their parents attend a Bible Study class. 
ALL ELEMENTARY
FIRST KIDS WEDNESDAY NIGHT is fun, friends, games, Bible & choir!
3 years-PreK
BLAST…a time where children have fun exploring truths about God through Bible Learning and Singing Together.

First Preschool
Learning Center

The First Preschool Learning Center, a learning experience with the goal of getting your children prepared for their next steps.

This will be a four day per week program (Monday through Thursday) from 9:00a to 2:00p. There is also an extended care option for working families with limited spots 7:30a to 5:30p. As we enter this season, we pray that it would be a blessing to you.
Pricing Information for 2025 - 2026
4 days per week (9:00a – 2:00p) / $425 per month
4 days per week (7:30a – 5:30p/working families) / $550 per month
Operating Calendar
We operate with the Bradley County School Calendar, August through May, and are off in the summer.

First come first serve for all spots. Vaccinations Required (limited un-vaccinated/delayed/parent choice accepted)

$125 per child registration fee
(due at registration with credit card)

Regular Day | $475/month
9:00a to 2:00p

Working Family | $600/month
7:30a to 5:30p, limited spots 
Documents Needed
  • Working Family Registration will require proof of employment for all adult(s) in the household.
  • Updated Immunization Records with Last Current Well Visit stated on it as well. Must state “Complete for Childcare” and have doctors signature.
  • If you are a Military Family (proof with ID will be required and copied).

PJ Harrison

Kids Pastor
PJ and his wife Melanie have 3 children. Raised in the church, he accepted Christ as a college freshman. PJ was an educator and has taught all grades, K-12. He is a graduate of the University of Florida & Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Sharon Wallace

Preschool Minister
Sharon has invested in the lives of preschoolers and their families at FBC for 8+ years. She holds an EdS degree in Educational Leadership, MA in ECED, and a BS in ECED from TTU. She taught in the public school system for 22 years and incorporates her knowledge of child development into her calling to ministry.

I'm so excited to be pastoring the 4th-5th grade students here at First Baptist. We believe in a God who does amazing things, even in the hearts of young children! I'm beyond excited to be a part of what God is doing in my hometown, and I can't wait to see all He has in store.
