Baptism is the first step of obedience for those who have placed their faith in Jesus. While baptism doesn’t save us – only Jesus does – it is a powerful, public picture of the new life He has begun in our hearts. Easter weekend is a meaningful time to take this step, as we celebrate the resurrection and the new life we have in Christ.
