Steve is married to Cheri and they have two daughters. Steve earned a BA in Christian Counseling, and is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with American Association of Christian Counselors. He is also a member of the American Counseling Association. Steve also offers Bible-Based spiritual direction and coaching and is a charter member of the International Christian Life Coaching Association. Certifications include Crisis Response, Addicitve behaviors, Relational, Trauma, Grief, Couples Recovery, and others.
Barbara was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She met her husband Pat while they were in school at the University of Tennessee. They married in 1965 and will soon celebrate 50 years of marriage. They are the parents of 2 children: Mark is an architect living in Birmingham, Alabama and is married to Cindy who also is an architect and are the parents of the two grandchildren Henry and Anna Cate. Kerry is a 3rd grade teacher at Ooltewah Elementary School. Barbara’s heart’s desire is to serve God by serving others and He has honored that desire by allowing her to serve at First Baptist for the past 30 years. Her favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5-6.
Tom Wickes serves in Pastoral Care after serving 25 years as Minister of Music. Before coming here he served churches in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.Tom also served in the Marine Corps. He is the father of two grown sons, Jim and Jeff, and four grandchildren. His wife Mary Beth is staff accompanist at Lee University.Tom is a graduate of Southwestern Seminary and Grand Canyon University.
Seeking to see students passionately grow in their relationship with Christ, Brian joined the staff in January 2012. He grew up down the road in Ooltewah, Tennessee, where God called in him into ministry. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Church Ministry with an emphasis in Leadership at Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, a school of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian most recently served as the Small Groups Pastor at ChristWay Community Church in Ooltewah, Tennessee before feeling led to First Baptist. Brian is joined by his amazing wife, Jennifer.
Dana Seeley grew up in Pembroke Pines, Florida with her parents, Doug and Dawn, and her brother Dillon. She moved to Cleveland, Tennessee while attending Bryan College where she graduated in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. While in college, Dana assisted with her school’s theatre productions and taught second through fifth grade Sunday School classes at a local church. Dana served in various capacities in the preschool and children’s ministry before joining the staff in May 2013. She is passionate about teaching children, babies through Elementary. She believes every moment is a teachable moment and every child deserves the opportunity to learn. Dana hopes to encourage this next generation of families to raise their children to know the God who loves them.

Khristina was born and raised in New York, and made the decision to follow Christ in 2006 while earning her Bachelor of Science in Creative Writing. She moved to Tennessee in 2009 to pursue and complete her Master of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry where she met her husband, Joel. Khristina and Joel met while leading worship together, and they continue to use their passion for music to help students experience God’s love through worship. Joining the First Baptist Cleveland team in 2013 as Barry Williams’ assistant, Khristina is dedicated to coming alongside families in helping them make Every Home a Godly Home.
Stephen is a committed follower of Christ, dedicated Husband and Dad. Stephen and His wife Ami were married in 2005 and have three children, Mary Evelyn (2008), John (2010) and Charlotte (2013). Stephen joined the First Baptist Cleveland staff in 2004 and became a full time minister in 2006. Passionate about using his gifts to extend the Gospel message, Stephen develops media and creative strategy for a talented team in the areas of broadcasting, web development, content creation and live worship production. Stephen attended Full Sail University, is a member of the Cleveland Media Association and is active on several media advisory boards.
Andrew Wolfe grew up in Columbus, Mississippi in a Christian family with his parents, Kevin and Kenner, and his two younger siblings, Austin and Hannah. When he turned 16, he started work at a local video production studio producing television advertisements, weddings, and other events. Andrew recently graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where he studied telecommunications with a special emphasis in church media and also assisted in productions with Lee University’s Video Production Center. He is passionate about the using the incredible power of quality media to strengthen the Kingdom of God.
Born in Willard, Ohio, Tyler and his family relocated nine months later to Cleveland, Tennessee when his father accepted the position of Minister of Music at South Cleveland Church of God. Twenty-one years later, Tyler followed God’s call on his life and accepted his first ministerial position as Minister of Music at that very same church. Prior to becoming Minister of Music & Worship at First Baptist Cleveland, Tyler served as a music associate at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas and graduated from Lee University (Cleveland, Tennessee) with an undergraduate degree and from Baylor University (Waco, Texas) with a master’s degree. He is currently studying for his doctorate degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Tyler’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 and his favorite sports team is the Atlanta Braves.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jim grew up in different parts of the country because his Dad was also a Minister of Music in several churches. Having felt called to ministry himself, Jim graduated from Ouachita Baptist University. During 33 years of service, he has been a worship pastor for churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia. He and his wife, Darla, have been married for 31 years. Darla is an Administrator for Faith Academy in Conyers, Georgia. They have three children: Ashley and her husband, Matt, live in Sugar Hill, Georgia, where she teaches 5th Grade and he works as a Mechanical Engineer. They are the parents of Jim and Darla’s only grandchild, Cooper Everett Fry (“Super Cooper”), who was born August 22, 2012. Weston lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, where he works for a political consulting firm. Austin lives at home while going to school and working as an Apprentice Electrician. Jim’s favorite verse is Romans 1:16 and he is determined to live an unashamed life in the power of Jesus Christ.
Born in Greer, South Carolina, Stefanie came to Cleveland to study vocal music at Lee University and to sing with the Voices of Lee. After earning a B.A. in Vocal Music, she began working as an Administrative Assistant and has since worked closely with music and ministry related organizations. Stefanie’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 from The Message: “Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.”
Connie has worked for First Baptist since 2002. She has an extensive background in food manufacturing/regulatory and a BS degree in Foods and Nutrition from Tennessee Tech. She has served at First Baptist as a Sunday School teacher in the Singles Dept and for elementary grades 3 – 5. Since joining First Baptist she has worked as Assistant Director of Weekday Ministry, temporary assignments as Admin Assistant for Student Ministry and Children’s Ministry, PDO and PNO director, Library assistant and currently serves as Purchasing Agent. She loves Bible study and CHS Blue Raider Sports! She is married to Robert and their blended family includes Amanda, Jennifer and Robert Jr.
Tammy came to First Baptist Church with her family in 1993. She started working at First Baptist Church as a four–year-old substitute teacher with the Weekday Ministry in 1994. In 1995, Tammy joined the staff as the Music Ministry Assistant and served for 10 years. In 2004, Tammy transferred to become Co-Pastor Jim Gibson’s assistant, which is the position she now holds.
Tammy graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is married to Michael Holt and they have two children, Christy and Chance. Tammy and Michael serve together as Middle school leaders in our Youth Sunday School department. They are active in serving yearly in both Local and International Mission trips and have a passion for students.
Mike grew up in Grove City, Ohio. From an early age, Mike expressed his love of technology through his academics, work, and hobbies. He has shared his talent in computers, networking, audio/video, broadcasting, and every other area of technology through volunteering with schools, non-profits, and churches both local and abroad. He has regularly shown leadership and innovation in his work, as evidenced through his experiences with Skyangel – an international television broadcasting company, directing the technical facilities at Lee University, helping businesses and consumers meet their technology needs with HiWire, and his regular contributions at industry conventions like NAB, CES, and others. Coming to First Baptist, Mike has also found a way to express his love of technology in his praise and worship. Originally a volunteer for the First Baptist Media Ministry, Mike has been a blessing to every concert, production, group meeting, and worship service he supported with his talents.
