Your child is important at First Kids! Caring volunteers lead irresistibly fun Bible experiences for birth through 5th grade.

Discover the new space.

Immerse your kids in a new, dedicated facility designed specifically to provide dynamic, interactive Bible study and worship catered every age. This new building provides larger and safer play and study spaces for kids with multiple playgrounds, a simple and secure check-in / check-out process, and dynamic Bible study time with songs and videos overseen by enthusiastic leaders and volunteers. Each area enables more intentional time with kids to help them find community, make friends, and develop their love for God.

6 Weeks - 2 Years

A safe fun learning environment where volunteers guide children to discover who God is through love, care, music, & prayer.

Elementary

We meet in 3 different environments: Kindergarten, 1st-3rd Grade, & 4th & 5th Grade Preteens. Kids experience fun activities, interesting Bible study, and exciting worship.

3 Years - PreK

A place where children explore the truths about God through age-appropriate activities and learn that God has a great love for each of them. Volunteers use Bible stories, crafts, and music to guide children in their growing knowledge of God.

Preteen (4^th & 5^th Grade)

A ministry within First Kids Elementary focused on 4th and 5th graders and their stage of life. As they connect with their friends and caring volunteers in an exciting environment, the goal is to become Friends of Jesus and Friends to Others.

First Preschool Learning Center

Formerly known as Parents Day Out, First Baptist Cleveland introduces the First Preschool Learning Center, a learning experience with the goal of getting your children prepared for their next steps. This will be a four day per week opportunity along with options to do two days per week. There is also an extended care option for working families. There is a $125 deposit at the time of registration, and all other pricing information is listed below. The age group for the First Preschool Learning Center is 18 months old - Pre K.

Pricing Information:
2 days per week (M/W or T/TH) / $195 per month
4 days per week (9:00a – 2:00p) / $390 per month
4 days per week (7:30a – 5:30p/working families) / $490 per month

PJ Harrison

Kids Pastor

PJ and his wife Melanie have 3 children. Raised in the church, he accepted Christ as a college freshman. PJ was an educator and has taught all grades, K-12. He is a graduate of the University of Florida & Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Sharon Wallace

Preschool Minister

Sharon has invested in the lives of preschoolers and their families at FBC for 8+ years. She holds an EdS degree in Educational Leadership, MA in ECED, and a BS in ECED from TTU. She taught in the public school system for 22 years and incorporates her knowledge of child development into her calling to ministry.

Preteen Minister

I'm so excited to be pastoring the 4th-5th grade students here at First Baptist. We believe in a God who does amazing things, even in the hearts of young children! I'm beyond excited to be a part of what God is doing in my hometown, and I can't wait to see all He has in store.
